I am oh so fated to keep hamsters as pets.

First, it's mummy dearest who happens to chance upon abandoned hamsters to bring home to.

Now, it's Junior's turn. But he chanced upon a discarded cage. On the 3rd floor of my block.

And the lil fella is having the time of its life, running up & down the tubes. And also running its life away in the wheel. And I'm smiling in my sleep to be sleeping to the "tune" of the running wheels. LOL!!!!

With all these going on, I am oh so tempted to get another hamster or two. A different breed this time. Cos now I hv a spare cage. And I'm eying another cage - a 2-level.

I'm think'g of getting a syrian and a robo. The syrian being the biggest breed can hv the 2-level cage. Then the robo, the smallest, can have the pink cage.

Fast & Furious

This lil fella is not exactly a Speedy Gonzales. But it sure loves moving around.

At 12mn, it was running back & forth the cage. It even climbed over the various objects in the cage and up the grills. And also not forgetting the vertical tube. And he was still at it this morning @ 6am. Guess it's telling me that the cage is too small. But I've yet to see it run the wheel. Speaking of the wheel, it is too small for it. Got to source for a bigger wheel then.

This lil fella is also very friendly. I placed my palm next to it, it sniffed a bit then started climbing onto it. He's not as defensive as Sammie though. Cos Sammie would bite you if she deemed fit.

Meal wise, I fed it Prestige last night. This morning, it seemed to be untouched. I shall wait until later in the day. Hopefully he'll take to the food better than Sammie.

Hamster Ball

Today's the second time Sammie's been into the hamster ball. And she seems to like it. Cos she didn't poo in it immediately like the first time.

But after I've accidentally knocked into it, she pooed 4x in it. LOL!!!! Guess she just went into shock and vented it out.

I will TRY to remember to take a pic of her in it.

Rental Apartment

This is a tried-&-tested "new" cage for the lil one. Which mum said it's too small.


But the lil one seems to like it.
