The Healthier One

Kootra seems to have some breathing problems earlier this week. And his appetite had reduced a fair bit.

Earlier this evening, I took him out into the ball. Cos I wanna clean his cage.

But when I wanna put him back, he was gone.

It seems like the change in environment had resulted in a heart attack. *roll eyes at self*

Now I'm left with his brother, Zeeke.

After that, I'll be home-run for a no-pet lifestyle.

Super Nova

The moment I noticed that Nova hadn't been eating normal since last Wednesday. I knew his end is near. And true enough, he started having breathing difficulties two days later. And it had gotten worse during the weekends.

Last night, he was panting so badly that he had to breath through his mouth. So I had been telling him to let go. He dun have to suffer any more.

This morning I woke up earlier than usual, expecting to see him dead. Yet he was still alive. But he was also having fits.

Before I left for work, I noticed him in that good-ole-familiar position.

Nova: Take Away

A New Sapphire

And it is a boi.

Four days ago, one of the hamster-gang members msg me that someone had found an abandoned hamster in my area. So she was wondering if I wanna adopt him. Since I have an extra cage after Evie had passed away, I agreed. So the next nite, I went to pick him up.

OMG !!! He looks so like Evie. The bigger version of it, ie. Well, he is a Sapphire so he does look like her. Kekeke!!! On top of that, he is as tame as Evie !!!! Gosh!! The look of him made me miss Evie all over again. *sniff sniff*

And since I collected him on 18 April, I had decided to name him "Etein". My fancy version of Eighteen (18). Kool eh. Kekekeke!!!

Oh dear me !!! I had unknowingly given him a name which has the same 1st letter as Evie ... Etein. *faint from disbelief*

Goodbye Evie

Evie had passed away an hour ago.
